I don't think either will set or cure by application of such light. One cures by chemical reaction, one by moisture/humidity.

Glenn,
As Mr. Kirkman stated - the two products that you listed will not change their cure time or status by the application of UV light. However, there are products on the market that do cure with the use of the unique lights. Do the research and you will discover the products. -------- Basically, these are in the same product family as are the products used in today's Dental world for tooth adhesive and tooth coating. [www.uvitron.com] [www.teamconceptprinting.com] [www.panacol-usa.com] ================== If you would like to to the research and development; you could work with some of these or other companies and come up with products that would be useful in the world of rod building. Best wishes Re: UV Black Light and Drying epoxy

2K epoxy and permagloss will not accelerate curing with UV. if you wanted to speed up epoxy curing, you'll need heat, or to use a different curing agent (which gets difficult as you need to calculate EEW:AHEW).
There is a UV cure industry, but there are a few setbacks involved. 1. it is VERY expensive. i've seen UV cure products for $200/gal + proper curing equipment (DecoRad) is ridiculously priced. 2. it MUST be thin coats. UV cure can only cure through a certain thickness so you'll need to apply many layers FYI, i work for a coatings/adhesives company that makes polyaspartics, polyurethanes, 1K acrylics, 2K epoxies, UV cure products, and encapsulates. Can you get some UV cure epoxies in small quantities? I have been getting mine out of China. It is for tying flies or rather the head of the fly in lieu of head cement. Cork4Us has small quantities. Half pints I think.
