Alps triangle reel seat size 22 reel compatability?

Hi Guy's,
Looking to use a size 22 Alps triangle reel seat on a heavy spin rod that I am building. Just wondering if the following reels will fit nice and snug.
Penn 850ssm
Fin-Nor Lethal 100
Shimano Shperos 8000
Shimano TLD 20 (another build)
Also how have people found them? Rod used for live baiting out of a holder mostly.

I've used a couple of them on 30# - 80# bait rods. They're a nice reel seat. I don't know why they wouldn't work on those reels, but if you want a straight answer, call Batson. They are a wealth of information.

They are only a tenth of an inch longer than the same graphite seat, you should have no problems.

Thanks for the reply. Have heard that the fin-nor has a bigger reel foot then alot of reels. May get one for this rod when my penn 850 gets retired. I am in Australia so will send Batson a email as it will be easier with time difference.

Don't know how much bigger the foot is on that reel, but my FinNor Offshore 5500 fits in an Alps tri 18, and that's a pretty big reel to me.
