ROdgeeks XC 733 is the blank to go with. I designed these blanks for ROdgeeks, I spend 50 days a year Blackfishing in NY, and another 60+ bottomfishing for fluke, porgy, sea bass, and have put that extensive time on the water into designing all the XC blanks.

Besides the weight being used to hold bait in place what distinguishes a blackfish blank from a grouper blank? I'm guessing sensitivity?
