Removing marbling.

Not happy with the marbling job, I'm thinking about removing it. Can someone tell me the best way remove it without damaging the rod. Thanks in advance.

If you applied it on top of a clear layer of epoxy, you can simply sand down to the clear layer and start over.

Fernando,
Sometimes you can just peel it off like you would a guide wrap except without the thread. Nick a corner being careful not to cut into the blank and try to get a fingernail in it and start peeling.

Carefully use a razor blade and cut it back a bit. You should be able to pull it down and cut away as necessary.
