Removing marbling.

Not happy with the marbling job, I'm thinking about removing it. Can someone tell me the best way remove it without damaging the rod. Thanks in advance. Re: Removing marbling.

If you applied it on top of a clear layer of epoxy, you can simply sand down to the clear layer and start over.

Sometimes you can just peel it off like you would a guide wrap except without the thread. Nick a corner being careful not to cut into the blank and try to get a fingernail in it and start peeling. Lance Re: Removing marbling.

Carefully use a razor blade and cut it back a bit. You should be able to pull it down and cut away as necessary. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
