King Salmon Jigging Rod

Hello,
I'm looking for some advice. I have a customer who would like a spinning rod for casting and jigging for 15-30 lb king salmon out of California. I only have experience with drift fishing for salmon using 8'6" to 9'0" fast action and super sensitive blanks. This guy says he jigs with 3-4 oz weights and casts with close to 1 oz lures, any suggestions on what blank to use for this gentleman? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Lamiglas GLB1081MH, or GLB1082MH depending on how many pieces they want. The heaviest Kenai series rod and a jetty / pier surf rod are built on this blank.

For that heavy of a weight we use our RainShadow RX7 SW967 up here in Washington. You can check out the specs here: [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]

For light weights there’s other blanks we’d suggest but for this the SW967 would be perfect, plus comes as a 2-piece.

Thank you all so much for your input! I ended up ordering the Lamiglas GLB1082MH 2 pc blank, it looks like exactly what this gentleman wants. I really appreciate you guys, this was so much help.
