Thanks for any help.

Hello Bill & Roger.

Bill; Sorry wrong jig, that one is for cutting thin cork rings.

Roger, thanks, I don't have that one.

Volume 1 #3, I think. Sold out a long, long time ago. I have had my eye out for one in case I might run across one but no luck so far.

Hello All.

Tom, 1-3 has the jig pictured on the cover but not the one with the article in it, I went thru all my mag's I have left page by page and the article with the plans are not in any of them.

The ones I still have are: 1-3, 2-1, 2-2, 2-5, 3-2, 4-2, 4-3, 4-5, 5-2, 5-4, 5-5, 5-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, 6-6, All the 7's and 8's, 9-1, 9-3.

There is an advertisement in 6-1 p.-8 from "Lanar Reel Seats" from Texas selling them.

There is a basic description of it in 9-1 p.-18 (Very Basic).

I don't have 21-5, but Roger says its in there, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it in the older magazines.

I still have to go through my CD's but I'm still looking.

There are some simple hand clamps in 21-5, but those aren't self centering (although aren't hard to center by hand). Andy Dear began building some of my self centering clamp/jigs after he saw plans. I remember publishing them but not sure what issue they were in. It would also have been pretty early on.

Robert, you're right. volume 1 issue 3 has no article or plans, just a photo on the cover.I will check the other issues you suggested..I think I can work from a photo to make this jig but would have preferred plans.Tom, if you're still interested in volume 1 issue 3 I have two and I will send you one if you want.
Thanks

It's in the "Special Edition * Tools, Fixtures & Shops" CD. I think that is a special edition magazine as well and the self centering cork boring jig is right on the cover. It's Special Edition #3.

Hello All.

I fell like a dummy just got done with my CD's and Tom H. is right it is in the SE "Tools, Fixtures & Shops", last one page 100-106, I Think.

I still think I saw it in one of my old magazines, but I lost so many.

PS Tom K. It looks like I will make it to the next EXPO.
Will you have at least 1 of each of the old back magazines?
I hope to restore most of my missing magazines.

Thank you Tom Harder for finding this article, It looks like a good CD to have. I think this article is in RodMaker magazine somewhere because it said that this CD was compiled from articles from the magazine I could swear I saw it. Most likely I'll buy the CD.
