Carbon fiber guide wraps

Hi All

I need some help please.
I'm busy building a Race Point El Maestro for my brother and he would like the guides done with a carbon fiber finish like Penn do on some of their factory built rods.
Does anyone know whether they use regular carbon fiber sleeving or do they use a, low temp, heat shrink carbon fiber tubing and if so where can I get some?
I'd really appreciate any assistance with this.

Thanks
Greg

I am not sure how it is done but I have seen some of Mike Pedersons work and wow does it look sharp.

I would think you could just wrap with thread and just sleeve the carbon fiber over it. Silk printing has gone a long ways, you sure the wraps are carbon fiber?

Hi Spencer

Yes I will be wrapping the guides with black thread and then the plan is to put the carbon fiber over it and then epoxy. I put a picture up of what I'm looking for on the Photo site, under guide wraps.
