Working and living in Florida has it's benefits but we have not been the Sun Shine state much lately. The rain has been relentless. Today lighting struck the transformer down the street and Mud Hole Custom Tackle is currently without power at this time. Power company says it will be fixed within 12 hours. So if you cant reach us by phone that is the reason, please email us or submit a question via the web site. Thank you for your patience and patronage.

Regards.

What size generator would you need to have back up power? Is it worth the investment?

Roger you are a mind reader! Sitting in the dark, that conversation has come up more then once for the new building. Management said its a good possibility. But based on the 1200A, 480V, 3P service we are looking at your standard off the shelf 1 Megawatt generator. If we turn off the margarita machine and frozen yogurt maker, we'd be happy with a 500Kw unit (plus ATS). Can you hook us up? BTW - power is back on, Thank You Duke Energy!

Regards.
