I have a buddy that would like me to make him a 10-foot musky Rod but I cannot find a specified musky blank that is 10 ft long what would be another good blank that could work Re: 10' musky blank

Musky blanks are varied , some throw heavy weight so i included 10 foot sticks that are capable of that below . Officially designated Musky blanks are rarely over 8.5 feet in length but the below can be substituted for Musky blanks and they offer longer lengths and similar weight , action and power ratings.
All ten feet in length , one is rated for 1-4 ounces , one is rated 3 - 8 ounces and one is rated 6- 12 ounces . There is also a 10 foot 3/4 - 4 oz model that is a 4 piece ( Not listed) [rodgeeks.com] [rodgeeks.com] [rodgeeks.com] Re: 10' musky blank

Your buddy should keep in mind that the longer the rod the leverage the fish has, not the opposite. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
