Quickline vs Rainshadow

I am thinking of wrapping up a 9 ft 6 wt trout rod. What do folks think of PacBay Quickline vs Batson Eternity or Revelation? I don't want too stiff or too fast. Are the North Fork Composite Gama Beta rods super fast and stiff?

I just built an Eternity 2 and it is pretty stiff. It is extra fast .

I'm not familiar with Revelation, but have built 8 wts in Quickline and Eternity. Both are faster than a "conventional" fly rod, and since the Eternity has nano technology, should be more resistant to breaking. Both are excellent casters, both are toward the top end of what one would expect for 8's. I think for trout you would want a rod described as having a "moderate" action. I expect you'll get more responses from our fly experts on the forum.

For a less stiff rod, back down on the line rating. You may still be able to cast a #6 line with it depending on the distances you normally fish.

Within the Batson line, the Eternity2 is a fast to extra fast action, the revelation is a little more on the moderate side.

You can always look at the new Unity Fly by Batson for the slower actions..
It goes like this in the Batson lines>> Eternity = Xtra fast, Revelation = fast, Unity = Mod-fast..
They come in a large variety of models..
Thank you for looking at our product lines..You will not be disappointed with your choice to use anything from the Batson Family product lines..
Call if you have any questions.
