Threadmaster and Humidity

I am about to commence wrapping guides on a blank using regularThreadmaster epoxy. The humidity in my shop is around 75%. Do I need to make any acomodations for that humidity level? Temp in low 70's, although I can raise the temp if need be. Only way to adjust the humidity is move wrap location.

I live in the Deep South on the water, it’s always humid. However I don’t have any humidity related problems with ThreadMaster or for that matter any other other finish epoxy. I never gave humidity a second thought.

It seems to take a little longer to cure in high humidity. The humidity in my basement runs from 65-75%. I did have issues with Threadmaster One in high humidity.

Agree with Norm and Tom , no issues with humidity with Threadmaster regular or lite but i have found applying Threadmaster at 70 degrees is right on that line of having issues or avoiding issues , i now make sure the room is at least 75 degrees and no issues whatsoever .

The HUMIDITY is not a problem , you will find that the TEMP need to go up, 75 F.. is good, but 80 is better I think ,

If you are a slow worker don’t go to warm with the temperature, Thread master is one of the quickest setting epoxy around, if you have the room too warm your working time will decrease dramatically..

Humidity has zero effect on the setting and curing time of an epoxy.
