New (to me) option for writing on blanks

Hi!

I've been on a long quest to find a solution that works for me for signing blanks. I've tried ink and nib, fancy permanent markers, various pencils, etc.

The local art store has been very helpful throughout the process, and just last week they recommend an oil pen from the company Molotow called "Liquid Chrome".

I tried it out on a scrap piece of shiny blank. It's a perfect 1mm in diameter (they also make a 2mm version), and went on smoothly with no streaking or pooling. I did not scuff the blank beforehand. I let it dry fully, then coated with Threadmaster Light. The ink was unperturbed. Lovely.

It's also worth noting that it is *not* metal flake / sparkly. It looks, in fact, like liquid chrome.

Tight lines (and wraps),

Ever
