North Fork MB 7108 x-ray

I’m looking to see if anyone has used the north fork MB 7108 or 7109 in the x-ray. I’m trying to build a rod to replace my power tackle 104.5 which I heard was built on a north fork blank.
Thanks.

I'm willing to bet the blank is more like the 7 ft. 6 in. flipping blanks found in the bass section of the NFC site

I have a MB 709 XRay yet to be built and it feels like a beast of a blank to me. I don't have time to build it for the moment since I'm working on a very special project on a XRAY SJ 732 but, if you have some specific questions about the blank itself I might try to give you some answers.
