First off, well done Tom! An open forum like this will be a win-win relationship for all those involved and the rod building industry.

ICAST is the largest show dealing with fishing tackle (and rod building) in the world. This show is meant for people in the trade and not the general public (sorry). I attended the shown last year in Chicago. It was great to put faces with names/voices from talking to manufacturers on the telephones. I would encourage and vendor to attend (heck air fare to Las Vegas is very reasonable). I know lots of manufacturers will be on hand exhibiting and wanted to see if some other vendors, distributors, representatives would be attending besides myself. May be we could all get together during the event to say hello and chat - say for lunch one afternoon, I’ll offer to buy. Let me know.
For the general public, list some items you would like to see available for the rod builder and I’d be happy to discuss them with the manufacturers.
