8.5 ft Blank Help

Does anyone have a recommendation for a 8.5', medium, extra fast or fast action blank? A potential customer has requested an estimate on this and says he will be using it for pulling crawlers and leeches for walleyes. I'm not having any luck finding much of anything in that length so thought I'd ask and see if there's a blank I haven't thought of.

Take a look at the IST1025 Steelhead blank.
They are on sale right now.

Look at Ron's Rainshadow hot shot blanks, HS1021 in the universal rod blank section. X fast tip, makes a nice crankbait stick also.

If you like a 1 piece rod
Try looking at the Mudhole sight
In the surf rods
9 feet depending on the action you could cut 6 inches off

The G Loomis HSR 9000 is a well liked Lindy Rig rod and has been for sometime, the reason I suggested the Rainshadow HS1021.

Ryan -- All according to the amount of weight that will be used and the pound test line used, here is a link to several 8'-6" MHX Rod Blanks that should work for what your customer is inquiring about - [www.mudhole.com] - Thank You

Thanks for the input everyone! I hadn't thought of looking at Salmon/Steelhead series rods which is why I was having trouble locating a blank like that in my initial search. I really appreciate all of your suggestions and helping me out! It's looking like either the Rainshadow HS1021F or the MHX ST1023F would fit for what the customer is seeking.

HS1021F - Butt Dia - 0.59", Weight - 2.9 oz., Tip - 4.5, Med/ExFast

ST1023F-MHX - Butt Dia. 0.483", Weight 2.15 oz., Tip - 4.5, Med/ExFast

Now to choose which one considering I've never fished with anything of that length before lol.
