Hi,

Fuji has discontinued this reference last year, if someone has some stock or know where to find them, please tell me !

I'm interested in sizes 8 and 10.

Thanks
Pierre

Don't think I ever seen that one, I assume it was one of the high frame double foot casting guides that looked like and was the same height as the old lower height Fuji single foot spinning guides.

Pierre,
I too have not heard of that guide. Granted I have only been building rods for four years but am rather dedicated to Fuji and have used a number of different styles. Are you certain you have the correct letters? Maybe MN rather than NM? I have no idea what type of ring material a VA would be. Fuji makes a RV, LV and SV; the RV is no longer available in Alconite but the other two are. I am surprised Jim Ising has not responded; he would certainly know.

Yes I am absolutly certain of the reference, I've used a lot but I need more.
They are Black Alconite High Frame Match guides : [www.fujitackle.eu]

Commonly used on float rods, feeder rods, ...

The picture made me realize I do have some old high frame double foot match guides, in various sizes. I have had them for 20 plus years. They might not all be Fuji, but if you want them you can have them.

I think those were called the Fleaweight series and don't think I've seen the single, or double foot versions in the US since the early 90's. My match rod has double foot Seymos on it. Thank god Pac Bay never gave up on the single foots as I've always liked and used them.

Spencer,

what reference are you talking about for Pac Bay ? Minima ?

Thank you,
Pierre

PacBay still makes a single foot ceramic ring Match guide. As Spencer states they have not given up on the classic M guide. Fuji made them for a while but switch over to the tangle free KL’-H series. Still have a couple of the Fuji single ft Hardloy M guides.

Pierre, a friend of mine found this by accident, and this site does have the guides you are looking for.

That’s a bummer ! I hope they remove it from their site. Seaguide makes a look a like guide, but I don’t know where you can buy it. Could check with Rick Hall, the global sales manager for Seaguide, he is a member here, and I’m sure he would help you.

Yes, Seaguide is the next step.
I was just hoping to complete my guides sets because I have a lot.

Thank you again Norman.

If Fuji is still making these guides, then try Jim Ising at Anglers Resource. He may be able to get them for you.
