Reel Seat Touchup?

Just finished wrapping my latest build. Giving it the final look over before finish I was not happy to to find a couple shiney spots on the reel seat hoods. Pac Bay skeleton seat black finish. Got two spots about a 1/16 in diameter. I have rods that have been fished hard for years and the finish is perfect still on the reelseats. Will leave the rant at. Anyways any suggestions on a good touchup method? No real damage to the surface, just missing paint. I am thinking it will just be paint pen as needed. Looking for more durable solution if anyone has one. Thanks. Re: Reel Seat Touchup?

Michael,
I just use permanent marker. Works well and holds up well as well. Re: Reel Seat Touchup?

If you can get something that will blend in the color, then give it one or two coats of thread epoxy to seal it in.. Ray Zarychta Glastonbury, CT Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
