Hi all,
I've been researching the topic for a while but haven't yet started building fly rods. I am looking to get into euro nymphing more and want to use my first build as a test run for a 10' euro rod. The only place that I've been able to find a 10 food 2-3 weight blank within my price range is on Angler's roost, but they are not currently taking orders following Johnny's passing. Does anyone else carry 10+ foot blanks in the 2-4 weight range for under $40-$50 dollars or so? I know that the quality will not be on par with the nicer brands out there, but I'm currently finishing school and don't have loads of disposable income to dedicate to building an expensive rod at this time. I'm looking for recommendations as I don't feel comfortable ordering directly from some one-off site or @#$%& that I've never heard of, and I have a friend that picked up all the other components from an estate sale of a former rodbuilder, so hoping to test the waters on a new hobby without breaking the bank. If this type of build for this cost is ridiculous, feel free to let me know and call me crazy. Thanks! Re: Low Cost 10 Foot Blanks

Proof has one for $80.00, but I've never tried it.
There's a list of some blank manufacturers here in case it helps [brflyfishing.org] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
