I am looking for some emerald green graphite gloss blanks. I think they make beautiful rods, but I cant find them for sale anywhere. I want to build light spinning rods 6' to 7' 1 piece walleye/panfish rods. You guys really helped out the last time I couldn't find blanks.

If it’s green it’s painted. The old green Matrix blanks were painted with a clear coat over it.

The old RX7 rainshadow blanks were a dyed finish, so we're the few ATC Matrix I've seen over the years, you can see the graphite underneath. Schneider's has some around marked OG on the site. My best discription I can come up with is a bit darker mature grass green, or Crayon green.

If that's the case quit rodbuilding, because that's not how it works. Anything not charcoal colored or black is painted.

The earlier AT-Matrix were Green Gloss finish.
The later are Black finish.
We do have a very few of the earlier left.

There is no green graphite, actually it is carbon fiber and it is black! Adding the epoxies used to build the scrim makes it appear a dark charcoal. Any other color is a finish on top of the fiber, call it paint, dye or whatever it is a coating.
