Just looking for a quick clarification... what is the difference between Proglu and Propaste and what are their different uses?

Proglu is more of a liquid that can flow into cavities. Quite often used to repair loose reel seats.

ProPaste is a thick goo that does not flow and stays where it is put. ProPaste is typically used to attach reel seats/grips/butts etc etc

Travis,
ProGlu is thinner, ProPaste is thicker. There are times when thinner is better, other times when thicker is better. Both work very well when used accordingly. You will probably find more applications for the paste as it will not run-out of the pieces to be joined. But when needed, the glue will flow into cracks and crevices very well.

thanks again so basically they do the same job in the end. it’s just weather you need it to stay where you put it or if you need it to fill some spaces.

When building a new rod, you shouldn't have any spaces to fill. And if you do have spaces, such as between arbors, bushings, etc., you don't want to fill them with epoxy. Such adds weight, not strength. Best adhesive bond is between close fitting surfaces.
