Can anyone point me in the right direction of getting a thread match for Ohio State's colors? I prefer to use Prowrap NCP thread.

I'm thinking Mars Red #331...yes?

Most universities have the Pantal color numbers for their colors on their web site. They can be then, much of the time, matched with the numbers given by the Prowrap chart.

The two closest Pro Wrap colors using the Pantone color chart are 343 Burgundy (Scarlet) and 831 Smoke Screen (Grey)

OSU must have the specifics for their official colors? You could get paint mixed which matches these precise specifications, coat thread wraps with a thin coat of this paint, and then epoxy over the paint. This would not be a close match but an EXACT match.

I've used ProWrap NCP in mars red and, being an OSU alumnus, I can tell you that it is not a good match for Ohio State scarlet. The closest match that I have used is Fish Hawk 326 scarlet. I have also used ProWrap nylon (not NCP) 325 fire red and it is close but just a bit brighter - but I think it will work, especially if you're going with NCP which is a bit muted in color. I've also used 831 smoke screen gray and I agree with Shawn that it is a good match for the gray.
