So like it says this is an 11' 3/4 wt build and while I have the guide placement I dont have the guide sizes . I'm thinking a 10 mm to an 8mm stripper and then 1/0 all the way out to the top . Sound about right ? TIA
Ron PS: These are single foot guides and its intended use is for swinging streamers and wets . Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/22/2019 11:31AM by ron zimmerman. Re: 11' - 3/4 build ???

I think I would use a 12, 8 then 2's Re: 11' - 3/4 build ???

I think Herb has it right.
Size 1/0 1 foot are a pretty small opening, different from a snake guide. The smallest single foot closed loop I would use is size 1, except maybe on a 2 wt with no knots to clear. Sometimes I think we carry the "smaller is better" idea on guides a little too far. The rod still has to fish and cast properly. The old adage "using the smallest guide that will still pass line and knots smoothly" still applies.
