Been trying to contact NFC but no answer yet....anyone know the tip size they used on their MB 705-1HM rod?
Site specs say 4 but when I look at the guide spacing table it lists size 4.5. Wanted to order some parts today.

Thanks in advance!

I would order the 4.5. I just finished a rod that the tip top was spec'd out at 4.0; but, the blank was closer to a 4.5. The 4.5 will still work on a 4.0 tip. IMHO

I have that blank on hand, and a size 4 tip top is too small, 4.5 is tight but fits. Anothet blank of the same model that I previously built, I had to use a size 5 tip top.

I would recommend 4.5 as well . I ordered 4.0 for mine and I had to sand the tip down quite a lot to fit.
