St. Croix and RODgeeks

We understand that there are still a lot of questions out there concerning St. Croix blanks and RODgeeks. Please feel free to ask them here or to email us as info@rodgeeks.com. We regret not being able to make it to the show in Winston-Salem this weekend, so please help us spread the word that we are more than willing to answer questions and help rod builders manage the transition from St. Croix to RODgeeks. We are already working on a number of additions to our lineup, and are still accepting suggestions for what blanks we should add in the future.

I just ordered and received a St Croix SC5 from you. There was no decal in with the blank. Will they be coming and will it say RG or St Croix?

Tom, you should have received a St. Croix decal in the mail (in an envelope). Going forward all St. Croix blanks will ship with a St. Croix decal. Email info@rodgeeks.com and we will get you another decal. Sorry for the trouble.

Will you be adding any models to the musky lineup? Will you be offering any of the SCIV or SCV musky blanks? Builders that concentrate on musky builds don’t have much to pick from. The blanks you currently offer are our saving grace! I’d like to get my hands on an SCV 9’ H blank at some point.

Thank you ,
Jeremy

Any plans for Rodgeeks to offer ice fishing rod blanks?

I would like for rod geeks to increase the options for ultralight blanks the longer the better. 7 or 8 feet is ideal.

I recommend that RodGeeks sell the excellent St Croix Handle kits. They don't seem to be available on the St Croix website any longer, and they were good kits with good cook at a good price. I am particularly interested in the HKF 3 and 4 kits, but all were good.

Jeremy and Paul, we are looking at adding some more options in those series/powers, so stay tuned. Shawn, unfortunately we do not have any plans for ice blanks. Drew, we are not looking to sell any components other than blanks and our selection of painted reel seats.
