Pier Rod Blanks?

I'm looking for a 1 piece rod blank in the 8ft to 8ft6 range. For a spinning reel.
It will be used almost exclusively for throwing lures from a large pier.
Lure weight varies but mostly in 3/4oz to 2.5oz tops. (most often 1 to 2 oz)
I usually us 20 to 30 lbs braid.
Want a good action for slinning them as far as possible.
Target species range from Spanish Mackerel, False Albacore to Bull Reds.

I am looking at these two rod blanks but I'm open to any. What do you think about these or any other options. North Fork is having a 10 year anniversary sale so this blank is listed at 250 but a 100 right now.

Good choices so far , also check out the Rod Geeks XC 802. The XC are perfect pier rods with flexible tips that give the right amount of cushion going to a backbone with much power. 4 oz blank weight for the 802 so not heavy either.

From the RainShadow lineup we’d actually recommend the RX7 SW1088 or SW1089 – little more power. You can cut it down some if 8’10” is too long.

Another blank that has been popular is the SW967 1 pc, 8'
or the 2 piece SW967F, easier transport and shipping.
