Got a request for an OU rod. Looking at ProWrap ColorFast 343 Burgundy and 805 Cream. Would that work, or is there something else I should try? The official OU Crimson is Pantone 201 C, ProWrap Burgundy is 202 C. I can't tell the difference on the computer, but I still want opinions from anyone who has one. Thanks!

201 & 202 are so close after wrap and epoxy you wont know any difference.

To maintain the right color in your thread you had better coat your rod wraps with multiple coats of color preserver or only use the rod at night.

Fuji has a crimson color that I’ve used a couple of times. Looks great. You might check into that
