EVA Pistol grip

Today a customer of mine ordered 6 rods of various size to be built with a 5 inch EVA pistol grip such as the one below from Mud Hole. I need to order the exact inner diameter exposed reel seats for these rods, each with a different diameter where the seat will sit. Not having one here to measure I was hoping someone on the forum had one and could tell me what is the length of the bore from the bottom of the grip to the end. And also please the length of the tenon.

It would be possible to call Mud Hole but I was hoping to get a jump on these tomorrow.

Many thanks in advance

The RodGeeks casting reel seats are ECSM seats and the ID that actually fits the blank is in the rear half of the seat. The front half of the seat has an ID of about 15 mm (same as most16mm reel seats). So buy a seat with an ID a little smaller than the OD of the blank at 5" from the butt. The seat can be easily reamed to fit. When I use the ECSM seat I glue a 1"-1.5" piece of a polyurethane foam shim for a 16mm seat in the front half of the seat. After it has set I ream the seat to fit the blank.
To fit the pistol grip, I use a set of drill bits and find a bit that is a very snug fit for the bore hole, and I turn the bit till it reaches the bottom of the hole. I then use the next size bit and repeat. I repeat this until I get a hole diameter that will snug fit the blank. It only takes a few minutes to do this and you get a perfectly centered hole without the need to drill through the grip and have to plug it. I mark the hole depth on the drill bit so I don't go too deep.
