Hey everyone, I know it's generally not there strong suit but everyone that ordered stuff on Black Friday have they shipped?

I ordered mine on 11/26, 7 blanks and haven't heard anything. I send multiple emails and received one message on 12/10 about being behind and should be soon. A few weeks later nothing. I've called numerous times but have never been able to get through.

I know they're great blanks and I don't expect them immediately but some communication in 5 weeks of what's going on.

Placed an order on 12/21 and it shipped today 1/3. Two weeks not bad.

That's good, I'd accept that. Don't know why mine is taking so long. Not sure if one of the blanks is out of stock or something. No clue.

Ordered 11/2 and have not gotten mine. Was told on 12/15 that the tip section needed to be built but they had to switch to another build activity so it was going to take more time.

As I mentioned before they are a very small company, and are making blanks as they go. If they have it in inventory they ship it with first come first serve. If they run out have to wait until the next production run for that blank.
I also made another order for fly rod on 12/26. Will see how that order goes.

I totally understand and it's great products I'm not questioning that. I'm trying to be patient, it just would be nice for some more communication on what the hold up is or even an option to partially ship what is ready.

I just wanted to know if others were receiving there black Friday orders.

i ordered dec 17 and dec 27 and have heard nothing on either.

12/2 and 12/21 and nothing yet either.

Ordered 11/19, Called on 12/10 was told it would ship on 12/17. Still nothing. I will not order from them again.

Ordered 2 Delta blanks November 17 and still nothing, emailed them and they said they would check into it and still haven't heard. Did you know that Batson and NFC merged sometime ago.

Batson Enterprises and NFC did not merge - always two separate companies. For a few years Batson Enterprises was the distributor of NFC blanks up until some point last year when NFC decided to start distributing themselves again.

I ordered on 11/20 finally got someone on phone and they told me would ship end of January.

I think people need to accept that if you order blanks from NFC the wait may end up waiting more along the lines of waiting for a blank from CTS than a blank manufacturer located in the United States and know that before you order . When i have ordered CTS blanks from Herb L i just forget about the wait altogether and understand that i should expect them in the range of 6 weeks but the point is i always get them and i'm always satisfied with the end product .


Expect a long wait but don't be surprised if it's much shorter in reality .

I am good with that but the issue is they say 2-3 week ship time then takes 12-16 weeks or longer. They should just say 3-4 months. Never good to over commit and under perform.

Got shipping confirmation on my dec 17 order today.

I ordered my blanks on 11/30 and heard back them that the blanks will ship sometime in mid to late January. I ordered the Delta version.

Agree 100% .

I placed an order with North Fork on 12/22 and received a mail today (1/4) that the blank has shipped. Evidently, based on some of the things I've read, I am have been very lucky as far as order placed and orders shipped, with the 3 blanks I've ordered from them.

I haven't been so lucky as far as receiving the blanks in one piece though. The first one I received, the cardboard tube had signs of being bent, but the blank was intact. The second one, not so lucky. My mail person was slick the way they placed the tube. They had it leaned against the side door in such a way that it looked perfectly intact. When I grabbed the tube to move it so I could open the door, I turned it 180 degrees from how it was positioned. It folded like an accordion. The blank was snapped in half.

Fingers crossed on the one that is in route.

Still nothing heard from an order on 11/26. Never again

I’ve got an order for an X-ray blank from 10/26 that hasn’t shipped. I bought it when it was only 50% off. Yup October 26.
