Are you talking about making rings from pie cut segments? Plastic wire ties work for that.

I have used the ties for years, but several months ago I purchased some circular clamps, but only purchased a dozen. I want to get some more of them, but can't remember the supplier. Which is why I am seeking out other rod builders.
Thanks for the reply

PVC rings, split down one side and sized slightly smaller than the rings, functions well for such clamps.

I would think that a hose clamp would work very well.

Just order the size clamp that would work for you.

NOTE there is a tool that will make wire ties tight it is sold at most electronic supply stores , a little costly , but not bad, I did not check Amazon or E bay , but it will make the tie wraps tight an take all the
spaces out if the cork wedges , if you put a plastic shim in the center to help keep the ring of proper alinement a little smaller than 1/4 inch because of cutting loss cause by the with of the saw blade ,
I got my shim's from LOWE's , any plastic rod will work for the shim [ I think ] [PLASTIC ROD Tightbond will not stick to it ] ,

Can these be reused? They look like they would work great and zip ties are single use only.
