Can you "stamp" EVA?

As the title suggest...

Not so much stamp as make a releif i guess.. An example of what i mean is the uglystik G2 handles.. The eva has 'uglystik' depressed into it.. Here is an example of what i mean.. [goo.gl] not the best example i know..

No only can you do it, but RodMaker Magazine did a complete article on how to do it. It was in Volume 17 #2 and was penned by Nuno Paulino.

The only catch is that the impressions are laser cut, which is also almost certainly the case with the rod grips you mentioned above. There are quite a few shops that can do this for you and they're not extremely expensive.
