Building up a Rodgeeks RG-42 for a 7-year old's Christmas gift and just can't help thinking that these might make a terrific ice rod for smaller (3 - 8#) lake trout. Anyone else wiggle one yet? - limber tip and nice backbone. Just wondered what your thoughts were, thanks Re: Rodgeeks RG-42 as ice rod?

No wiggles for me but what an outstanding gift that is , lucky fellow . I am very very pleased with Rod Geeks blanks though , incredibly lightweight and they perform fantastic. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
