We lost one of our own ,For the rod builders that remember Fishsticks from years ago. We lost Jim Parker last night.Jim was from Atlantic City, but Robert and myself gave him a path way to Southern citizenship. We spend a lot of days on the water and at the rod show. I loved this guy as a friend and a brother. He only built rods to @#$%& off for autism. Thanks to Bill Batson for always hooking him up with parts. Thanks To Charlie Daniels
We who build rods are a different type of man, with a special kind feeling for the ones we call our friends. It’s a arm around the shoulder when the morning comes too soon, late night Conversation in a High Point NC-salon.We so less than human, we have lost one of our own. There’s one more empty rod lath This old Rod builder gone home. Love you brother. Please donate ur custom built rods to the artistic foundation. # kick autism ass Thanks Tom for the many shows that Jim and my crew love so much Captain Ray Re: Bad news

And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray: When in the Lord's great landing net And peacefully asleep That in His mercy I be judged Big enough to keep. fair winds and following seas to you Jim The best day to be alive is always tomorrow !!
