Any tips on wrapping tops ? These wimpy little ends on O wts thru 3 wts are testing me . I would appreciate a tip on a way to stabilize them . Right now I put a welding rod through the ring and attach to wrapper , works but not really well . TIA

Ron

I use a wooden chop stick from the local food store, the same as you just a wooden stick, use a section of thin rubber band to hold it in place , it is only a few wraps long , don't have to be that tight ,
as it is just for looks , in fact you don't have to have it at all , lot of builder don't do it , for the reason you don't like it ,

Ron if you want to do it here is a way to skin that cat cut a 5 inch length of thread and place a drop of cp at the edge of the Ferrell and lay the thread on it let it set and in about an hour or so come back and warp it down in stead of up tuck the end and finish Oke dokie

Ron,
I made this small accessory to help with the wrapping of small flexible sections and tips of rod blanks.

This accessory was made from a piece of nylon cutting board and a couple of sections of solid fiberglass rod blanks. Notches were cut in the top with a dremel cut off tool. Holes were drilled into the cutting board to accommodate different spacing of the blank supports.

A slot was cut into the cutting board base to bolt the base to the wrapper base.

Total cost was about 5 cents.

Thanks guys , I found a deal on you tube that attaches to my wrapper . It looks pretty cool , I'm going to give it a shot .

Another problem I have is I just got two blanks in and the tops are crooked . I was thinking instead of finding the spine I'll just wrap the top of the bend ? What you guys think ? TIA. Ron
