I've found 2 different recoat times online for Threadmaster Lite, is one of these no longer valid. For a previous formulation for instance?
ThreadMaster Lite Technical Info. Recoat Time @ 77 Degrees F: 8 hours min./48 hours max w/o surface prep TM Lite: ReCoat Time: Within 36 Hours (All measurements taken at 70 degrees Fahrenheit) I want to 2nd coat my build, its currently been about around 40hrs since the 1st coat and I'd like to leave it a little linger for the decal to dry out. Will I need to rough up the surface with some fine wet and dry paper before the 2nd coat regardless or only if it goes over 48hrs? Thanks for all the help here. This forum is a fabulous source of information. Cheers Dan Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/26/2018 05:19AM by Dan Rees. Re: Which Threadmaster Lite recoat time is correct??

If you're applying another application within a week I'd just apply it and not worry about things.

Thanks Tom. Second coat is on, hopefully turns out ok. First build back after a long break and still to much to learn. Re: Which Threadmaster Lite recoat time is correct??

2X Tom’s reply. However, to eliminate any “worry”, shorten Tom’s week to 72 hours. Scuffing wraps is a PITA. Mark Talmo FISHING IS NOT AN ESCAPE FROM LIFE BUT RATHER A DEEPER IMMERSION INTO IT!!! BUILDING YOUR OWN SIMPLY ENHANCES THE EXPERIENCE. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
