It depends: Will it be used for casting or trolling? Will it be used with braid or mono or fluoro, and what pound test? The devil is in the details.

25,16,10 out with 8's if you run leader knots, 7's if not. The bend will tell you how many, but use at least 8, not counting the tip top.

I agree with grant. 25 should be fine but what size is the reel and what type of line are you using? As Phil said "the devil is in the details". I've used 25 and I've used 30 stripper guide with braid because of the size of the reel spool. With braid you can also move the stripper guide a bit closer to the reel. Tape the guides up and test the layout. Good luck.
