Fenwick SP681

I have a nice Fenwick SP681 that i want to rebuild that I got awhile back. It has 4 eyes and the tip top. The eyes appear to be what fenwick used as they all have the white and grey inside the eyes. My question is does anyone know the proper spacing for this rod and how any eyes it should have? 4 seems kind of odd to me and when I test it out it appears that it isn't flexing correctly under load. Thanks again for your guys help

use some tape an move them around some an get a fit that you like
PS tape to hold the guides on so that you can move them around easy .

are you doing a restore or a rebuild ??
if it is a restore just put them where they were if it is a rebuild then I would say 5-7 guides dependent on what the load test would prove out. you want to remove as much of the sharp ark of the line between the guides there is where you add guides and re position them to get a smoother line lay when the rod is flexed

Think out side the box when all else fails !!!
