Sanding epoxy

I had a freshly epoxied rod on the rod dryer and at some point during the night it fell out of the holding mechanism. Luckily the epoxy was far enough along that it had mostly set up, but there a few lumpy spots where the epoxy sagged. Can I sand the high spots down and epoxy again? Re: Sanding epoxy

Yes, you can sand and re-apply. Re: Sanding epoxy

Josh,
But, do let the epoxy cure so that you can sand cleanly without gumming up the paper and clumping up the epoxy. Re: Sanding epoxy

Also - if you abrade the thread - even slightly - you will create a caterpillar out of the wrap.
