I started using this site as it was just starting. About the same time I started making rods. I have gotten so many tips to help me out and have had many of my problems taken care of from post. I didn't know about the Rod Maker Magazine before reading about it here. I get my copy each month now. Great site Tom get up the great work and thanks for all the help.

Since BigAl made the 5000th post you will receive from Richard's Rod & Reel Service the 'poster' prize. We'll send you a set of St. Croix Rod posters, a hat represinting Richard's Rod & Reel, and a free issue of RodMaker Magazine. This is free to you, Al, and

I see you already receive RodMaker. So, we'll substitue a free RodMaker magazine HAT instead. That's 2 hats, now. One to hopefully remember us, and the other can be for your 'rodbuilding head'.
Hope you enjoy this.

Okay, I guess it's your turn Ed.

Now, if we can only convince Tom K. to thow in a free mug or something. After all 5000 is an incredible achievement for such a short time with this wonderful gathering site for rodbuilders.

Let's see if we cal all make it to 10,000 posts in an even shorter time.
If Tom will make notice then, we'll have another 'poster'prize. Suggestions will be invited.
