New Book

About 20 years ago I penned a book for Amato Publications. They named it Rod Building Guide and have sold tens of thousands of copies. Today, the agreement ran to its end and the book will no longer be available once the stocks currently on hand from dealers is depleted.

The rights for the book have reverted to me and another publisher has already reached out about doing a revised and updated version. This gives me a chance to not only update the book, but add new and expanded information that was not included in the first book. I have agreed and the new version should be ready by Spring 2019. Expect a much larger volume with all new photos.

That's good news. I always recommend people starting out to get your book.

That is great news. That book got me started on rod building. I have not built a rod in awhile (probably about 6 years or so) but have some blanks on hand and want to update my arsenal again. I hope I can pick up where I left off.

Thank you for all you have done for this hobby. I would have never gotten into if not for your book, this website, and the magazine.

Signed copies? Maybe a signing party at the 2020 Expo?

Tom, Your a man of your word. Many years ago you said a more advanced edition was in the works after your first book. Its been a long time coming but, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Sign the 1st copy to me.
