My brother in law asked if I could repair his Sage Z Axis 9'6" 5wt for him, the stripping guides is crushed. Does anyone know the proper replacement for the guide and also the thread color that Sage used on this rod?

Call Sage, they have been most accommodating on matters such as this.
Indeed, they just made a section for a 3 pc 6ft spin rod I had built and told
me the only rods they can't make sections for are very old ones do too
materials not available. At one point they used Gudebrode Goldenrod thread
and H&H guides, but not sure what they use now. Call service, explain your
dilemma and they will help.
