Duckett paint color

I'm looking for the best paint for covering the wraps on Duckett Ghost and Micro Magic. I believe they're painted before epoxy or maybe the epoxy is tinted. I'm brand new at this and found white blanks to be the most challenging so far.

you would have to have that color white checked for the other pigments that give its color they have several different shades of white depends upon the other color pigments mixed in to it to achieve the color they use
ford has 3 different shades of white one I know of is their arctic white it has green pigment in it yet it looks white

I have replaced many, many guides on Duckett rods, and their guide wraps are not painted. If you are replacing broken or pulled out guides use a NoCP white thread, or for the Ghost rods use a NoCP grey. I cannot remember the thread number for the grey thread, but you can call Duckett and they will give it to you. The NoCP threads look like they have been painted, but they are not. If you want to tint your epoxy finish use marbling pigment or the pigment from Testors enamel. I have not used the powder paint pigments for tinting epoxy but others have said they work well. The major problem with light colors on a white blank is that the epoxy finish will eventually yellow, and becomes quite noticeable. I like to use darker colors on white blanks because the yellowing is less noticeable.
