Hi guys I need some help in building
A rod drying cabinet it needs to be 14' long
And do 6 rods at a time as I need it in winter
As I get a lot of work but I tell people to get
Them done just before summer but they don't
So if anyone out there got any ideas or plans
They want to share with an Ozzie

Paul,
Make a skeleton frame out of 1x2's - like the frame of a canoe.
Then, use 1/4 inch hardboard to act as a skin on the cabinet.

In front, put on a clear plastic door, that is hinged from the top. That way, you can open the door, lay it back on the top of the cabinet, and when the loading work is done, just grab the front door swing it over the edge and it will drop down and stay closed with no fasteners required.

You should be able to build the entire cabinet for under $50 by using these materials.

On the bottom of the cabinet, put in about 5- 25 watt incandescent bulbs in simple $1 porcelain sockets with an on/off switch on the end of the cabinet.

A nice dryer to put into the cabinet is a drum dryer so that you can dry 12 rods at a time.

There or not hand dryers in the toilets would
They be any good for drying the two pack
they to hot for the rods

How much dust is that ting going to be blowing around?

Your epoxy finish will grab any dust in the area, so no I don't think it will work.

You want no air movement, use light bulbs to heat your box.

It depends on size of box & average temp in the room you keep it in.

Roger gave you instructions on one, and lists 5 -25 Watt bulbs, but I had one with three 40 watt bulbs evenly spaced.
