Speaking of Hitena thread, I am in the middle of a full rod wrap and I noticed that the Hitena thread has no inherent static electricity build up that in turn doesn't attract any airborne dust. another plus for the thread.

I too am experiencing no static, it is a real plus! Our air currently has a very low humidity here in California. I think it is a characteristic of the Hitena thread.

I for get, but Hitena is probably using nylon6, not nylon6,6 which holds about 30% more moisture and moisture is antistatic..i,m so use to thinking in terms of nylon 66...

Ben, I use a humidifier in the winter in the lower level of my raised ranch where my rod room is so I would expect the same no static results. Thanks.
