customers wife is having trouble using a production rod in the $250 range she says is to stiff for her.
This is a conventional reel set up. looking for a blank 80-100lb line range using 8-12 oz lead to drop down bottom fishing in 200 ft for grouper. I would appreciate the boards help in picking out a blank 6'6'' or 7' length. I'd rather be catching! Re: offshore bottom rod blank suggestions

From Rainshadow lineup I’d recommend the RCKJB (Knife Jigging) blanks would give her some of the play. RCKJB508-500 or possibly the RCKJB606-325 - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] James Taylor Batson Enterprises BatsonEnterprises.com | RainShadowRodBlanks.com | ALPSForeCast.com | Build2Fish.com Re: offshore bottom rod blank suggestions

The American Tackle AXVJ7060-325 would work in the length you requested. My personal favorite for yanking Groupers and TIles from 300-600ft is the AXVJ5810-500 but it's only 5'8". Capt.
