this is the ones that go on the grip not the ones that fit in the reel seat , tried Epoxy, never stuck to it , went to Super Glue , it worked, I can live with it , has any one tried
ant thing else ???
it looks like they will stretch some but don't know how long it will hold up in the stretch condition , not a lot of sizes out there ,

Super glue or a touch of Rod Bond but I always finish off the winding checks with decorative thread wrap in front of the check and thread epoxy, holds everything together and adds some zing to the rod.

The CRB epoxy will stick to the silicone winding checks , clean checks first , then do as you normally do with your checks,

Bill,
When I have worked with silicone in the past, I found that about the most efficient adhesive was silicone RTV.

After all RTV is silicone so the two materials work together. Not quite a slick and clean to work with as other adhesives, but it does an excellent job of securing the silicone rod building parts to the blank and grip.

For example:

By the way, when working with such RTV silicone adhesive, one of the best things that I found to mask off areas to NOT get glue was to use Saran Wrap or plastic film used for sealing food for the refrigerator.

The silicone adhesive and not much else will stick to the plastic film and it does an excellent job of masking off an area to hot be blued.

Good luck
