I recently built on a Point Blank PB701mf. I fell in love with it first time out fishing a Fluke for Bass. Great tip and feel! Second time out, I was fishing a Tourney on the Potomac River, got to my first spot and 3.75 inches was broken off the tip. I run an Action Craft Fastbasser which it a center console flats style boat with vertical rod holders along sides of console. I am assuming tip was broken on the run, in the holder. No other rods were damaged. I honestly cant figure out how this could happen? Am I at fault? Not sure where to go from here? Advice?
Thanks, Rick Re: New Point Blank broken

Send it to Anglers Resource and let them have a look at it. Most likely it was fractured in transport somehow. Very doubtful the uppermost 3.75 inches just fell off. Was this the first time you fished it? If you fished it on the first trip and caught fish on it with no problems, it was then almost certainly damaged somehow, somewhere, between the first and second trip.
