I received 2 carbon fiber grips from A supplier , an they look like there should be some type of coating on the fiber ?? they feel good, but I am a little worried about the dirt /sand/ fish scales
getting into the weave , should I forget it, an install ? or apply A coat or 2 with some Perma Gloss [ make smooth an look great ] I don't know , any help
the weave is tight to the foam , no air under the fiber/weave , any input

Top coat with Permagloss, very easy to do and looks great. Here is a video by Tom on how to do it. If you don’t have a lathe use a cordless drill.

Bill, I had the same question and Norman Miller gave me the same advice he listed above. I followed his instructions and never regretted it.
