yes it will work if it isn't a sloppy fit other wise you might want to ass a few windings to take up the space and then glue it back on The best day to be alive is always tomorrow !! Think out side the box when all else fails !!! Wi. Re: rod ferules

Back when I started building rods the hot melt cement now used for tip tops was called ferrule cement for obvious reasons. So go ahead and use it, it will snug up the loose ferrule very well, with no problems.
