I am building my first rod with the Fuji Slim SIC gunmetal corrosion control KLH guides and have to comment: Great looking guides, elegant style, finely finished, smooth as silk on all surfaces, slim ring looks great, in all, like putting jewelry on the rod. Nice job, Fuji.

Glad you like them Michael...wait until you try a set of T2 Black Titanium! I think it's the best looking guide Fuji has offered to date. IMO.

Is there a link where I can see them? And price them? And buy them?

Pretty sure Mudhole has images of them and other sponsors on the left . I only like the gunmetal finish myself as the other corrosion control frames don't appeal to me . I still purchase the polished stainless as i never had corrosion control issues and i love the look.

Current website is short on info. We are working to launch a new site. Michael, can I send you an up-to-date catalog?? Send you address to info@anglersresource.net if I don't have it already.

No need for a catalog, Jim, I found the T2 black in your on line catalog. I'd really like a good image, will keep looking. I know what your black SS look like, with alconite. thanks, Mick

Just found them listed on Mudhole, probably a little pricey for what I'm willing to go with. thanks to all for catching me up.

Those SIC rings virtually double the price from the Alconites but if you want the gunmetal and smoke colored guide frames it looks like SIC and Torzite is your only choice.

Can anyone point me to an actual picture comparison of the Slim SiC vs the regular SiC.
Also, is there a specific designation in the model numbers to show that it has the slim rings?

Cheers
Linus

Here is the Anglers Resource catalog. It does give a depiction comparing the various rings on pg 6. The various K guide designations are give on pages 11 - 13.

Tks Norm. So the slim SiC only comes in Corrosion Control Gunmetal at the moment. Great! Now I know what to look out for.
Cheers!

They also come in the new black titanium (T2) frame, but cost more..They are sold by some of the sponsors although their descriptions are a little lacking. If they are listed as black titanium sic or gun metal sic they have the slim sic rings.

Here's a good comparison of the T2 black Titanium/Slim Sic - a premium guide vs a BC (Dark Grey Corrosion Control) /Fazlite ring - a value priced guide.

Are these new slim sic rings as thin as the torzite's, or not quite? I'm ordering some and wondering if i can get away with a size smaller running guide than i've used in the past.
